Evoluciones by Luisa Martín de Vidales is a retrospective of works made between 2000 and 2010 in mixed techniques on wood and on canvas in which the author reflects on some facts and life, events that lead the changes and also each individual evolution. The works are infused with ideas such as life goals, the desire for stability or those changes necessary when someone has occupied our site.

Luisa Martín de Vidales, an engineer by profession, studied sociology in an effort to understand the society. She herself affirms that her work is submerged and inspired by society as those things which conditions us, the events that occur and those to which the person attributes meaning. As she herself indicates, her creations are moments or contexts in which the sense and meaning we give to each event become our biography. Everything that happens to us leads us to shape who we are.

The exhibition was available to be visited from March 23rd to April 10th, 2021 in the Mar de Vida Art showroom at 23 Moratín Street (Calle Moratín 23)  in Madrid's Barrio de las Letras.
