Teresa Pajares

Jose Manuel Álvarez Enjuto opened his curatorial text in one of her many exhibitions saying that if painting is that what the fishing rod is to the fisherman, architecture what the anvil is to the blacksmith, the consequence is a link of need and aggregator of flourishing and enriching contributions.

Teresa Pajares plays with textures, materials and volumes. She is not interested in copying reality but that reality and everyday materials configure an interesting way to understand art, everyday life will lend the materials so that the defects find one of the languages of art.

Observing her work, I am aware that our environment, is often invisible to us. Each world is a great work of conceptual art that is waiting for us to select elements to be elevated them to the category of art.

Her website, while she is always saying it is out updated, introduces the artist's works. It also lets us see that Teresa Pajares is also a great audiovisual artist who is fascinated by the everyday submerged in the everyday.
